Nekura Sketchby ~Drakedragon

Another sketch to help me prepare my entry. Even though he only makes a brief appearance in Hisaki's thoughts, I still wanted to get a feel for drawing Nekura's character.

Nekura is Kikirini's character and therefore belongs to her.

I used reference pictures. I usually do when I draw fanart, because I want to make sure I draw them right.

Of your characters, Hisaki and Nekura have proven the easiest to draw. Yasha's been being stubborn. :/ She doesn't want to come out of my pencil right...

Haha, really? I always find Yasha to be easiest. XD But her mannerisms might confuse people into drawing her wrong... she has very boyish mannerisms.

I guess that's what throws me off. I'm used to drawing girls that... well you can tell are girls right off, even if they do have boyish mannerisms. Yasha's a little different.
